Having graduated from CSU East Bay, June 2013, I am currently enrolled in the Masters program for Statistics at the same school.  My experience of helping others was acquired during 30 years of managing and owning a large travel sales firm.  I returned to school in 2010, to begin studies for a new career, and served as a TA in statistics for my last two years, helping both individual students and small groups solve problems and complete projects.  Working with individuals was most appealing, because it gave me the opportunity to focus and concentrate on exactly what the person needed to succeed.  By far, my time as a TA, assisting another individual to learn and progress, was the most rewarding aspect of all my schooling, and so tutoring is a natural extension of this continued effort.
